For those of us above the 37th parallel (latitude), sunlight technology does not typically generate enough power for our needs. Fortunately, California Sunlight developed technology that enhances the power output of solar collectors and contacted the Law Office of Gerald R. Prettyman to secure many patents. Among them is U.S. Patent 8184372 for an interior lighting system. As shown in the patent drawing, sunlight enters the collector, and instead of being lost to transmission diffusion, California Sunlight’s reflective technology concentrates and enhances the output to brighten an otherwise dim interior.
